The project is carried on the frame of the course Google UX Design Professional Certificate, where the goal is to research problems user have within your community and try to solve them through product design.
To do so, a three step methodology has been followed, from researching to ideating, and finally building and interactive prototype that can be tested with users.
The project is based on a main detected problem: the difficulties that the youth in Spain face while finding their first job opportunities. The hypothesis is validated through a survey, answered by 30 users from Spain between the age of 21 and 26 who where students or had recently graduated.
With the result of the survey, user personas, like the one in the example below, are created to emphatise and better understand the needs and problems of the users.
With all of the outputs of the research in mind, it was time to define the different features to create a prototype that can be tested with users.
For doing so, activities like crazy eights and paper low-fidelity wireframes have been used to develop a first digital mid-fidelity prototype. This first prototype is tested with five different users within the target group, whose feedback is used to improve the final version of the platform.
In the next phase, the branding is developed to define a tone for the platform through colors, typography, illustrations and other visual components. This, combined with the feedback from the prototype testing, leads to the final interface design.
